And the winner is Chuck Watts for the 2019 tree watering season. Chuck attended every tree watering day this year, with Sherry and Darryl hot on his heels. Notice from the photo that Chuck has won before!

With the rain starting early this year, we finished a month early with 11 watering days.

We discussed watering for next year and I felt the trees at Riverview Park would be the only ones that should need water unless we have a hot spell. We also discussed the possibility of turning the watering days into trail work days, because so many of our Elite Volunteers and other other love to be out there working up a sweat.

Working with the Bucketeers is always fun. We keep learning more about each other and sometimes come away with a new joke.

I would like to thank Thad Nelson for the use of his tank and trailer. Without it our bucketeers would be out of a job. THANKS THAD!
